Major: Print Journalism

Raised as a military brat, but now calls the Gulf Coast home, she first got interested in writing when she was a kid and started writing ghost stories, and her love for horror and science fiction is still with her. She is a big women’s sports fan, especially when it comes to basketball, and watches as much she can whether it be the WNBA or the college game. She also can be found expressing her geeky side by gaming on her computer or at a card shop playing Magic the Gathering and other role playing games. A junior print journalism major, she looks forward to her career of experiencing what the Gulf Coast has to offer while writing for one of its local papers, and getting immersed in the communities, life, and culture of the area.
